In this Minnesota CLE webcast, Paul Luehr of Stroz Friedberg, LLC will give an introduction to E-Discovery and will focus on what attorneys can and should do early in a case in order to avoid legal and financial pitfalls. He will address recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, including early meet and confer obligations, rules governing electronic forms of production, and a vaunted but often misunderstood “safe harbor” provision covering routine computer operations. The webcast aims to help counsel deal with the new realities of e-discovery by combining a primer on the law with a discussion of new “best practices” in the field.
