Leveraging E-Discovery Technology for Cost Savings

Electronic discovery webinar: May 31, 2007. 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Central. LexisNexis Applied Discovery.

You might remember the days when terms like metadata, concept search and Boolean logic were foreign because they were not related to the practice of law. By now, you may have tried dozens of approaches to managing discovery projects and probably know all too well why each of these terms are important. Since the emergence of companies like Applied Discovery in 1998, e-discovery technology has made significant advancements incorporating all different kinds of features and tools along the way. This session will focus on how to leverage technology such as data culling, bulk-tagging, document repositories and project management to streamline project management and document review.

*Special note: The first hour of this session will be devoted to an overview of the advances in technology which will be eligible for CLE credit. You can also join us for the optional thirty-minute session immediately following for product demos that will demonstrate how the features discussed in this session work in practice.
